1medium apple
1teaspoonsugarcaster/superfine
Instructions
Slice the apple thinly. I used a mandoline
Lay the apple slices onto a baking tray lined with baking parchment and sprinkle with the caster sugar.
Bake at 200C/400F for 4-5 minutes until the edges start to curl.
Eat as soon as they have cooled enough not to burn you, about 3 minutes minimum.
Notes
OptionsMix the sugar with 1/2 a teaspoon of cinnamon, cardamom or ginger for a spicy twist.To serve 4 simply use 2 apples and 2 tsp sugar. Recipe inspired by Apple Chips from Bijouxs
