Ingredients
 

  • 300 grams apples
  • 50 grams granulated sugar
  • 100 grams plain flour
  • 50 grams butter or spread
  • 40 grams Demerara sugar

Instructions
 

  • 300 grams apples, 50 grams granulated sugar
    Peel, core and slice the apples. Put into an oven proof baking dish with the granulated sugar.

  • 100 grams plain flour, 50 grams butter or spread
    Put the flour and the butter or spread into a bowl.
  • Cut the butter into the flour with a knife.
  • Then rub the butter into the flour until it resembles breadcrumbs.
  • 40 grams Demerara sugar
    Stir in the demerara sugar.
  • Pre-heat your air fryer (if required).
  • Cover the fruit with the crumble mixture.
  • Place the ovenproof dish into the air fryer and bake at 175C (350F) for 20 minutes
  • Cook until the fruit is bubbling and the crumble is golden brown.
  • Serve warm with custard, ice cream, cream or yogurt.
