Ingredients
For the Tortilla chips
2Corn tortillas
1teaspoonvegetable oil
½tspsalt
Instructions
Pre-heat your air fryer
Cut the 2 tortillas into three strips with scissors or a knife.
Then cut the strips into triangles.
Place the triangles in a large bowl or a plastic bag with 1 tbsp vegetable oil.
Add ½ tsp salt.
Mix together to give a light coating on all the tortilla pieces.
Put half the tortilla chips into the basket, or as many as you can in a single layer.
Set the air fryer to 180C for 4 minutes.
Check after 2 minutes and shake or move around with a heatproof spatula, then finish the 'frying'
Once golden brown, remove the tortilla chips to a cooling tray and leave to cool. They will crisp up as they cool.
Repeat with the remaining tortilla chips.
Serve the Air Fryer Corn Tortilla Chips with Avocado Salsa and sour cream.
Notes
Serve the tortilla chips with the salsa and a chilled glass of wine, lager, iced tea, whatever takes your fancy!If you don't have an air fryer, then you can bake the tortilla chips on a baking sheet in the oven at the same temperature but you might need to bake them a little longer.
