Mixed Berry Jam (Jelly)

A mixed berry whole fruit jam that makes whichever berries you have into a delicious spread. Makes 1kg (just over 2lb) jam

- 450 g mixed berries including blackcurrants
- 450 ml water
- 550 g sugar

Remove the stalks then wash the fruit.
450 ml water
Simmer gently with the water until the skins are really soft.
550 g sugar
Add the sugar; stir until dissolved
Boil rapidly until setting point is reached.
Fill into sterilised jars and seal.
