100grams Carrots

Instructions
Pre-heat your oven to 200℃/180'℃ Fan/375℉
Put 1 teaspoon of vegetable oil into a large oven-proof pan (one that has a lid) over a medium heat. Fry 225 grams (8 ounces) of sausages until they are golden brown on each side.
While the sausages are browning, peel and roughly chop 100 grams (¾ cup) onions and 100 grams (¾ cup) carrots. and core and slice your apples.
Cut 200 grams (7 ounces) new potatoes in halves or quarters depending on how big they are,
Peel, core and slice 100 grams (1 cup) apples.
Remove the browned sausages and place onto a plate.
Fry the apples, onions, carrots and new potatoes in the pan over a medium heat until slightly softened and lightly browned.
Stir in 1 tablespoon of flour and cook a couple of mins until the apples and vegetables are lightly browned.
Put sausages back into the pan and stir in the sage, along with a good grind of black pepper.
Pour in 300 millilitres (1¼ cups) cider, stir and cover.
Place in the oven for 45 mins.
Serve as it is or with crusty bread. It's also nice served with a green vegetable.
Notes
This casserole is ideal to make in a slow cooker. Brown the sausages and onion then put in all the ingredients into your slow cooker with 150 millilitres (3/4 cup) cider and cook on LOW for 6 hours or or HIGH for 4 hours.
