Chocolate Krispies Easter Nests are the simplest chocolate treats. Made simply of Rice Krispies breakfast cereal mixed with melted chocolate and decorated with chocolate mini-eggs.

Ingredients
 

  • 100 grams dark chocolate
  • 100 grams milk chocolate
  • 100 grams rice krispies
  • 80 grams chocolate mini eggs

Instructions
 

  • Break the chocolate into a bowl and stand it over a pan of gently simmering hot water until the chocolate is melted.
  • Remove from the heat and stir in the krispies. Mix thoroughly until all the krispies are well coated.
  • Spoon the mixture into paper cases and decorate with mini eggs then chill until set.

Notes

I used a mixture of dark and milk chocolate but you can use all dark chocolate or all milk chooclate depending on your preference. 
I made some small krispie bites using petit four cases as well as the full size chocolate krispies.
